23 June 2009 E -learning Assignment What will you defend?

Hi all, I am Tan Jing Han, index number 31.

1. What do you hold most dear in life such that you would strive to protect and defend in times of threat or crisis?

To me, I would strive to protect and defend my family in times of threat and crisis. I think that families are very important in our lives. When we encounter any problems, our family would be there to help and support us. We go through ups and downs together. Families play an important role in our lives. Without their moral and emotional support for the past 13 years of my life, I would not be having such a great life today. Teaching us the right things, guiding us on the right path. Our parents work had each day just because they want us to lead a good life. They are always the ones whom encourage us to work harder. Being our closest member in our lives, families are the ones i would protect first in times of threat or crisis.

2. For the above question, state three different aspects and include in your responses, why you think these specific aspects are important to you.

Family, friends and my country is what I would strive to protect and defend in times of threat or crisis. Firstly, my family are the closest people to me in my lives and they matter a lot to me. They have helped me walk through the ups and downs of life and they will always be there for me when I need help. Next, friends are also important in our lives as they bring us joy when we are unhappy. They also helped us solved problems when we need their help, they also play together with us when we are bored. Lastly, my country has given us opportunities to excel in academic area and to increase our knowledge. It has given us a safe place to live in, thus I feel we should be loyal and defend our country.
